Paul Montagne founded his first company, GET ME IN!, in London in 2004. Despite a global economic crisis, he sold the company to Ticketmaster in 2009. Shortly thereafter, he started Groupdeal, a daily deal website, which he sold to Telegraaf Media Group in 2014. In 2016, he started VentureBuilders. Paul studied at UC San Diego as well as the Free University of Amsterdam and holds an Msc. in Business Economics.
Diederik Ingen Housz
Diederik Ingen Housz started his career as a tax lawyer at Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam and London. After years of experience, he got bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and co-founded a boutique (tax) law firm. He has extensive experience in M&A (seed, VC and PE) and MBI transactions. In 2016, he started VentureBuilders. Diederik studied at UC Berkeley and holds an LL.M. from the University of Amsterdam.
Arie Kuiper started his career at McKinsey & Company. After a 2-year stint at IceMobile and BrandLoyalty as head of data analytics, he returned to McKinsey to build start-ups for enterprise clients. After having built three ventures in a Built-Operate-Transfer model, he decided to build ventures and stay with them. Arie joined VentureBuilders as a partner in 2018. Arie studied at University College Utrecht (economics & neurolinguistics), the University of Amsterdam and the Free University of Amsterdam, and holds an Msc. in Business as well as an MA in philosophy.
Akarsh Dhaiya started his career at LiteForex Official, a forex trading company in Russia. He grew to become its CFO during the currency crisis in Russia. In 2017, he traded Russia for New York to become an investment banking associate at New York Bay Capital. Akarsh joined VentureBuilders in 2018 as a Sr. Investment Associate. He studied at the University of Rajasthan (engineering) and has an MBA from INSEAD. In addition, Akarsh is a CFA level 2.
